Nov 2023 Chapter Meeting Minutes

  • New 2024 Officers Elected:
    • Mike Currier, Director
    • David Bradley, Assistant Director
    • John Forbes, Treasurer
    • Kim Allan, Secretary
  • Discretionary Officers who have indicated interest in helping out:
    • Membership – Bob Chase
    • Webmaster – Eric Patterson
  • Discretionary Officers NEEDED for the following areas:
    • Activities - to help organize Valentine’s party, summer picnic, Christmas Party, etc.)
    • Head Road Captain – to lead the planning and coordination of routes for chapter rides
    • Safety Officer – to provide members with info related to safe riding practices
    • Photographer – obtains, collects and organizes chapter images for HOGSCAN, chapter communications and chapter history
    • Editor – assembles and organizes chapter communications before distribution or publication in HOGSCAN
    • Historian – prepares and maintains an account of the history of the chapter
    • Christmas Party is scheduled for Saturday, December 16th from 4p – 9p at the Post 186 American Legion building, 901 Otterdale Road, Midlothian, VA
  • HOGBUCKS will be ready for pick-up at the dealership by Saturday, November 18th. MUST be returned to the dealership by Saturday, December 2nd, 1pm. Tickets will not be accepted at the Christmas Party.
  • Nancy chase will be at the dealership on Saturday, December 2nd from 10a-1p to sell tickets to the Christmas Party. This is last day to get tickets, they will NOT be sold at the door
  • Bob Chase will be at the dealership on Saturday, December 2nd from 10a – 1p to begin taking 2024 membership forms. Don’t date forms!!
  • HOGSCAN will be primary system for tracking HOGBUCKS in 2024. It will be used for tracking rides and events throughout the year. Additional training will be provided, dates/times TBD.
  • Brenda Gibbs (Patches) will continue to sew on patches for members, but due to decrease in volume of requests, her schedule will change to quarterly in 2024 (Jan, Apr, Jul, Oct).
  • No Membership meeting in December.
